YoungFilmmakers in association with Copyright Alliance will screen new films and videos from high school and college filmmakers. Films will include documentaries, short films, and feature presentations and represent the best creative work of the next generation of filmmak- ers. YoungFilmmakers will give young filmmakers not only the opportunity to show their films to audiences and critics but will give them the chance to network with each other at live screenings and online. YoungFilmmakers started as a Student Screening Series at NewFilmmakers. NewFilmmakers was started by NYU students fifteen years ago at Anthology Film Archives and has become one of America’s leading indie film screening series with programs in New York and in Los Angeles

The Copyright Alliance is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that unites creative people from a variety of disciplines and advocates for the protection of their creative work. The Copyright Alliance membership represents artists and creators across the spectrum of copyright disciplines, including more than 35 trade associations, companies and guilds, and over 15,000 individual artists and creators.
Within the Copyright Alliance is an active grassroots initiative called One Voi©e Copyright Advocates, which is made up of an international network that includes artists, creators, teachers, legal advocates, business and thought leaders with a collective voice that is committed to upholding creators’ rights. To showcase this, we have launched the One Voi©e Grassroots event series, which kicks off in New York City. This will provide a forum and original content for independent artists of all types and their supporters. Each event will highlight issues and content related to creativity and technology as well as generate interest, excitement and membership in the Copyright Alliance.
